Treasure Quest Mining is an indoor, climate-controlled Gem Mining, gold panning, and geode cracking experience, award-winning birthday party venue, and prehistoric gift shop located in Apex, near the downtown district.

Treasure Hunters wash their mining rough in a trough of running water (called a sluice) to reveal the treasures hidden within. You can search for gems and minerals from around the world, or seashells and fossilized sharks' teeth.
