Ruby Bridges This is Your Time is being released on November 9th. This book recounts Ruby’s experience as a child who had no choice but to be escorted to class by federal marshals when she was chosen as one of the first black students to integrate New Orleans’ all-white public school system. This very timely book is geared toward middle schoolers but of course mom and dad can read this inspirational story to younger kiddos as well.
