The Cincinnati Fire Museum calls itself "the only Tri-State museum that saves lives," and it's true. Located in a restored 1907 firehouse, the museum has a fire-drum from the early 1800s, the oldest surviving fire engine in Cincinnati, a hand-pumper from the Victorian Era, and a modern fire engine complete with sirens. And the museum also makes a point of imparting important, nonthreatening fire-safety information to its visitors. The Fire Museum teaches as well as entertains. Your children will like interacting with the exhibits, and they will get an education, too. Adults $7, ages 65 and older $6, children 6 to 17 $5, children 5 and younger free with adult/senior admission
