St. Michael School exists to create a Catholic educational community where human culture and knowledge, enhanced by faith, is shared among teachers, students, and parents.
To this end our curriculum is organized to:
Make known to each of our students the person and message of Jesus Christ and the teachings and traditions of the Church.
Help our students develop a spirit of prayer and worship through participation in communal services.
Assist our students in developing an understanding of the Catholic Church and a desire to participate in the sacramental life of the Church.
Develop in all our students a respect for the rights of others as individuals and groups.
Provide educational opportunities and experiences for all our students, which meet their individual needs.
Assist our students in acquiring a sense of responsibility for themselves, the community in which they live and the world community.
Enable our students to acquire critical thinking and problem solving skills which will enable them to meet the challenges of the future.
Instill in each of our students a sense of wonder and a desire to increase their knowledge.
Enable our students to acquire basic skills while emphasizing the heritage, responsibilities and the privileges of American citizenship.
