The Carolina Basketball Museum, located on the campus of the University of North Carolina, is open to the general public Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. Admission is free.
The Carolina Basketball Museum is located on the first floor of the Ernie Williamson Athletics Center, adjacent to the Smith Center and Koury Natatorium on Skipper Bowles Drive.
The museum features artifacts, videos, photos, statistical and historical panels that highlight the history of the Carolina Basketball program. The museum experience begins with a presentation and includes video tributes to Dean Smith, Roy Williams and the Carolina Family, Tyler Hansbrough, Michael Jordan and every aspect of the history of UNC Basketball. It also includes interactive presentations highlighting Carolina's 20 Final Four appearances and 18 Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament championships, and many of the greatest games and most exciting finishes in Tar Heel history.
