Summer camp may or may be not happening where you live (and some of us still waiting to hear), but did you know that there are lots of camps going VIRTUAL this summer? We've found 20+ virtual camps from STEM to sewing and everything in between. Some of these are even FREE! Check out the full list now and reserve a spot for your kiddos as space is limited in many of them!
Varsity Tutors is going virtual this summer! Their virtual summer camps are FREE interactive, week-long sessions designed to keep your K-12 kids busy this summer. From Recycled Art and Sign Language to Spanish and Photography, there are SO many amazing camps. Space is limited, so reserve your student's spot today!
iD Tech is a leader in summer STEM education programs for students ages 6–18. ID Tech is now offering virtual summer camp options with instructors from Stanford, Caltech, and UCLA. Students will receive personalized learning with 5 students max per class and on topics students love like Roblox, Minecraft, Python, and creative arts. Kids have the chance to make friends with students from all over the world!
Capitol Debate is offering 150+ one week and two week virtual camp sessions. Their live interactive activities include: impromptu speeches, mini debates, improv, shark tank presentations, persuasive speeches, debate tournaments, and more. Students will receive real-time feedback from leading public and debate experts and can also participate in a parent showcase and award ceremony.
Camp Tech Revolution powered by Lavner Camps allows for lots of collaboration and socialization, while also ensuring that campers get plenty of guidance from their instructor. They have a 1:4 to 1:8 instructor to student ratio within their camps which feature some of the hottest topics in tech including Scratch Coding, Game Design, Minecraft, Roblox, Python, Java, C++, and Graphic Design with Custom T-Shirts.
Sew Happy's Fashion Design Camp has gone virtual! This camp includes making a mood board, fashion drawing, designing a business logo, re-purposing a t-shirt, fashion challenges and a virtual fashion show on the last day of camp (hand sewing only). They are offering two different themes for this camp, "Inspired by Denim" and "Flirty Shirty."
Connected Camps is offering virtual options like: Arts, Exploration, Technology, Community, and Esports. The camps are 5 days long, 90 minutes per day and there are coed options as well as girls-only options. Class sizes are kept small, so space is limited!
Code Ninjas is offering week-long virtual summer camps including coding, robotics, and game building. They also offer hands-on virtual camps where a cool STEM product is shipped to children’s homes. Their instructors virtually guide kids through challenges and activities such as building an actual robot.
Chef Tech Cooking School teaches people how to cook – to show them how to select quality ingredients, use the proper equipment and master the best techniques. They are offering many camp options this summer including: Farm to Table Fresh Favorites, International Bake-Off, and more!
Scattered Solutions provides small group online classes and virtual summer camp programming to scholars worldwide. Social, structured, safe and super fun summer solutions starting at just $10 an hour - all summer long! Kids will meet friends from around the world, discover new interests, and explore new activities.
Broadway Teaches Kids is hosting virtual summer camps for students ages 5 to12 years old. Their curriculum will consist of lessons, games, and exercises that will take children on a journey to artistically express themselves. The virtual summer camp will have an arts focus and all classes will be taught by talented professional artists who are out of work due to the COVID-19 emergency that has caused the closure of Broadway, theaters, dance companies, film studios, dance studios and more.
Colorado Ballet Academy has moved all in person Summer Camps for ages 3-9 to virtual, online programs. Check out camp options like Prince and Princess Dance Camp and Fairy & Elf Dance Camp. Their instructors will connect with students, engage them with creative classes, choreography and conduct socially distant crafts and activities!

Science Explorers is offering virtual summer camp options for children ages 7-11 in which children receive a box of science goodies about 1-2 weeks before the camp start date and they then participate in virtual camp via Zoom. All sessions are taught by a LIVE Science Explorer’s instructor and they will lead your child through a variety of engaging and exciting hands-on science activities and experiments

Act One Theatre Camp is now ONLINE! Check out this new summer camp which brings the exciting world of theatre home to your living room! For kids ages 6-15, this interactive theatre experience will have kids spending each and every day acting, singing, dancing, and more... all from the safety and comfort of you own home.
Summer Camp Online provides interactive classes for kids online and has a huge list of virtual summer camps to check out. Art, dance, cooking, crafts, LEGO, music, and so much more! Their camps are offered for ages 3 and up and run from June through August.
Virtual campers with The Sage School will log on to Google Meets with same-aged peers for morning and afternoon sessions consisting of short periods of teaching, followed by hands-on demonstrations, experimentations, crafts, and arts. The sessions are taught through an integrated approach, incorporating STEAM and Humanities, in ways that will spark curiosity and inspire discovery.
CU Science Discovery is offering its K-12 summer STEM classes in a remote format that combines online learning with hands-on activities. Camps are offered in Art, Coding, Video Design, Ocean Discovery, and so much more. All sessions are led by enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and experienced instructors, including CU faculty, graduate and undergraduate scientists.
Camp Super Now is a virtual summer camp for kids ages 5-11. Each child is assigned a ‘cabin’ which is a virtual room of 8-10 fellow campers who share in the fun during a week of camp. Cabins meet daily for counselor-led sessions featuring crafts, games, field trips, and more. Campers can opt into additional camp-wide activities like sing-a-longs, magic shows, and movement classes that foster camp-wide community.
Future Set Tech Camp offers one week camp sessions featuring Virtual Reality Coding, Python Programming, Video Game Design and more. Their sessions run Monday through Friday with two one-hour live sessions per day and one hour of optional independent work per day. Space is limited to 6 students per course.
Designed for grades 1–5, virtual summer camps with the San Diego Museum of Art are led by artists instructors and allow young artists to explore art activities, a variety of media, and take virtual trips to the Museum to view exhibitions. Campers can create wearable works of art, create sculptural works of art, and more!
