Carriage House Preschool provides classrooms for two, three and four year old children from the third week of August through the third week of May. Carriage House maintains ratios in all classrooms of 1 teacher to every 4-5 children. There is a Kentucky certified teacher and two teaching assistants in each classroom. Morning classes are in session from 9am â€“ 12pm each day. Afternoon classes are in session 3 days a week from 1:00 - 3:30pm. Early drop off is available Monday through Friday from 7:30am â€“ 9am.
Summer programs are available for 8 weeks. Children are in a 2 yr program or mixed group of 3 â€“ 5 year olds. The morning program is in session from 9am â€“ 12pm each day with early morning drop off beginning at 8:00am. The afternoon program is in session 3 days each week from 1:00 - 3:30pm.
The Endeavor Program is a year round, early educational program for children ages 2 - 6 years, who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities. The goal of Endeavor is to prepare children for future education in a public or private school setting.
Enrollment options include morning and or afternoon sessions. Each session is three hours in length. The morning session is from 8:45am â€“ 11:45am, and the afternoon session is from 12:30pm â€“ 3:30pm. Children must attend at least 2 half day sessions, with the option of up to 8 sessions per week. With six children and three trained staff in each classroom, the Endeavor Program ensures the intense interaction and instructional guidance that children with autism require to learn in a group setting.
Children experience a therapeutic preschool environment where the strategies of evidence based and emerging intervention methods such as ABA, VB, Floortime and TEACCH are imbedded into a natural learning environment that utilizes incidental teaching and direct instruction. Staff include certified and trained teachers, behaviorists, and assistants who have experience working with children with autism and other developmental disabilities.
