My son has been attending Aurora Day School for a year and a half. He’s in 6th grade there. He has high functioning autism with behavioral problems and at times violent impulsiveness. He is was being suspended 2-3 times a month towards the end of being in the mainstream school & I was getting calls at least once a day. Once he started Aurora, things seemed to almost immediately get better! The teachers and staff know exactly how to approach kiddos like my son! The small class sizes help to not overwhelm the kids, plus there is a main teacher an a behavioral assistant in each class. My son has made so much progress since being there! I thank the Lord all of the time for them; I just wish we had gotten him there sooner.
