Re-Defining School! The Jersey Shore Free School is a free, democratic Sudbury school where children are free to explore and learn at their own pace, in their own way. Life is the curriculum and the whole community is the school. We accept students ages 4-19. For kids who are bored or unhappy in traditional school, this is the only alternative. Sudbury schooling is non-stress, non-coercive and highly successful. Governance is a fully participatory democracy and is an on-going learning experience. Our kids can't wait for school to start!
