MORE DETAILS:

We are getting together to celebrate Paw Paw, a fascinating tree native to our forests.

This celebration is for the benefit of the Bring the American Chestnut Tree and Native Food Forests Back Home: https://www.antinanco.org/american-chestnut-trees

We will have insightful discussions about this small understory tree from mainly-tropical plant family that produces the largest edible fruit native to North America, meet and examine paw paw seedlings and possibly even sample the fruit. Mid to end-September is harvest season for paw paws! Afterwards - fire, music, potluck (feel free to bring a dish).

Suggested donation: $10 (kids free).
