The Richmond Original Italian Street Festival started with the dream of one individual to bring to Richmond the opportunity to experience the culture and heritage of its Italian population. The festival’s move from the Richmond Raceway Complex to the Shockoe Bottom 17th Street Farmers Market brings the festival back to it's roots. In addition the new "hip" location allows for growing popularity of the annual event, which drew more than 25,000 over the years.
