MY FAMILY & MUSIC – WHY WE WERE EXCITED FOR MUSIC TOGETHER:
I was thrilled to try Music Together with my three kiddos! My 2.5 year old girl is obsessed with music and picks up song lyrics and tunes SO fast! She is definitely into beats. My 4.5 year old is not as outwardly expressive of his love for music, but he does love to make up his own lyrics and dance moves. My 7.5 year old loves to comment on songs he hears — familiar or not. He loves to sing along with lyrics and he’s overjoyed any time it’s acceptable to boogie to a beat. He loves to dance and (despite no formal training) he thinks he’d enjoy being a professional dancer when he grows up. They are all into music in their own certain way, I was really looking forward to seeing how they would enjoy Music Together.
CLASS PREP & BONUS ACCESS TO RESOURCES:
Before the kickoff to our Music Together program, I received access to online and hard copy resources which was great and meant immediate access to fun! My kids loved the variety and have various interests which were fostered through the included components of the Music Together program. It was also nice to have online access for whenever it suited each child’s mood/schedule/etc.
WHAT WE LOVED ABOUT MUSIC TOGETHER:
I enjoyed the self-paced access to online content since two of my children attend school at different hours. Those flexible components meant we could jump into an independent music session any time, with any of them. I could even engage my husband if he’d like to be a part of it when his schedule permits.
ENGAGING IN OUR MUSIC TOGETHER CLASS:
MY FAVORITE MOMENT DURING CLASSES:
My favorite part of our Music Together Classes was being able to extend the lessons at home. We were able to take what we learned in class and incorporate it into play during our day.
THESE CLASSES WERE A MOOD BOOSTER:
Throughout our Music Together session, I was reminded of the importance of music and how it can enhance or improve our mood. The same can be said for dancing to music. I now have it written in my priority planner to have morning music time every weekday!
I WOULD RECOMMEND THESE CLASSES TO A FRIEND:
I would encourage every Mom to consider investing in Music Together - especially at a time when people need music to help soothe the soul! The online offerings allow busy Moms to create lasting memories with their kiddos .. and be silly long the way! Music, dance, and play is good for Mom’s soul too!
OVERALL, I WAS IMPRESSED:
I was so impressed by Music Together’s integration of multiple facets of learning! From videos and music streaming, to DVD, to book, and to incorporating our own instruments at home... it’s awesome!
