Come read to Jessie, our R.E.A.D. dog! Reading dogs such as Jessie help children to develop the skills they need to read in a relaxed environment. Kids can bring their own book or read one of ours. They can read to Jessie by themselves or bring one (1) sibling or BFF, if they so choose.

Registration is required. Please register online through our events calendar or call the library at 352-754-4043 to reserve your spot. Jessie will be available for 15 minute increments. A signed waiver is required. Registration opens up 30 days prior to the event.
