If you're a business owner, you'll find the answers to most of your questions in our business owners' FAQ.

I forgot my password or user name. What do I do?

Go to the Log-in box and click on "forgotten password." Enter either the email address associated with your account or your user name. An email will be sent to you with both your username and a new password and you can re-log in. After, you can change your password by clicking on "Edit My Profile."

How does Hulafrog determine what businesses or activities are listed on the site?

Any businesses or organization that meets our kid-friendly criteria, can have a business profile on Hulafrog. These businesses are then able to post any activities (classes, camps, teams, places to go, events) they offer.

Are all activities previewed and approved by Hulafrog staff?

No. Businesses enter their own activities. Hulafrog staff does monitor the site and will remove content that is not a good fit. In addition, Hulafrog users can flag any activity or organization as inappropriate and it will be forwarded to Hulafrog staff for review.

How do you choose the activities that appear in the daily "Our Pick?"

Hulafrog's editors are moms who live in the area and are dedicated to uncovering the best things for kids to do. We choose activities that appear in "Our Pick." And we gladly accept suggestions from our HulaFans. Just break out the Suggestion form.

How do you come up with your Top Ten Polls?

We have a monthly schedule of topics for our Top Ten Polls, which is created by our staff. That said, the actual choices that appear on each individual poll are created with users input. The process goes like this: During the first week of every month, we ask our HulaFans for suggestions of, say, kid-friendly restaurants. During the first week of the month, we'll compile these suggestions and add them to the poll. After our users vote, we post the final Top Ten.

Can someone win your contests more than once?

Absolutely. And we're glad you asked! You can win the contest more than once, just not in two consecutive months. (We do need to give others a chance to bring home the goods.)

What's a Hulapage?

Your Hulapage is your central console, where you can:

• view your bookmarks
• review new offerings from businesses you're following
• see reviews from members you're tracking
• edit your reviews
• create groups to organize outings with friends and their kids
• message with other hula members
• invite friends to visit Hulafrog

I'm having trouble sending my Bookmarks to multiple friends.

You can only send your bookmarks to one friend at a time.

Why would I want to Follow a Business?

If you have a handful of businesses that you love or think look interesting but aren't committed to signing up for their activities yet, it's a great idea to follow them. Why? When you follow a business, you are privy to their special offers. Hulafrog businesses post special offers--some regularly, some randomly--and these messages (similar to a status message on Facebook) can be viewed right next to the business name in your Businesses I'm Following list.' It's a great way to quickly scan your favorite businesses' special offers instead of having to search for them each time you come to Hulafrog. You never know, you could be in for some great discounts!

Why would I want to Follow a Reviewer?

You may agree with some reviewers more than others. Perhaps a particular reviewer has two kids exactly the same age as yours, or their kids just happen to like the same types of activities as yours. If that's the case, following them is a good idea. You'll always know when they posted the good word on a new business or activity, and you' be the first to get the scoop.

What are Groups?

Groups are a great way to organize activities with other moms. For example, if you are part of a regular carpool to school or class, you can create a group for the carpool moms. Just invite them to the group. They will be able to view anything you post--the car pool schedule, changes to the schedule, notes. Any member of the group can add follow up comments and notes. For example, if your daughter is sick and does not need to be picked up, you write that on the group bulletin board, or if you are going out of town and need to swap your week with another mom's, you can post the question, "Can anyone swap with me?"

You can use Groups as your communication mechanism to organize ongoing playgroups, school charity events, teams, carpools, and more.

Talk about a time saver! And you can invite anyone to be a part of your group, not just current Hulafrog members.

Can anyone create a profile?

Anyone who lives in the area, is over the age of 18, and uses Hulafrog to find local things to do for their kids, nieces, nephews, grandkids, etc., is welcome to (and should) create a profile on Hulafrog.

Does Hulafrog ever remove profiles?

Your profile is your own. We won't remove it unless it includes something inappropriate. Hulafrog has the right to determine what is inappropriate. Hulafrog also has the right to remove a profile under any circumstance (but rest assured, we'll only do so if we have good reason.)

Will Hulafrog expand to other regions?

Absolutely. Hulafrog does plan to expand to other regions. If you're interested in hearing about our expansion plans read our Hula Blog. If you have a region to suggest, we'd love to hear it.
