Dougherty Elementary School has 764 students currently enrolled in grades K through 5. We have 30 top notch classroom teachers teaching 5 Kindergarten classes, 6 first grade classes, 5 second grade classes, 5 third grade classes, 5 fourth grade classes, and 4 fifth grade classes.

Included with our standards-based curriculum, we also offer our students many classes, programs, and activities, such as instructional music, physical education, 5th grade band, leadership opportunities (Student Council, Go Green), library, and a computer lab.

We offer a comprehensive support network for our students. This network is comprised of English Language Development, Gifted and Talented Education, Speech and Language, Resource, Special Education, a Psychologist, and a Health Clerk.
