"Make A Circle is Jennifer Paskow's stunning debut into family music."
-- 2016 Parents' Choice ® Silver Honor Award review
Says Jennifer Paskow, "Make A Circle began in the homes of many of the local Venice/Santa Monica families to whom I teach music. I've been singing with some of these families since their little ones were born! Make A Circle was 100% funded by my community, and it's going to be such a thrill to celebrate the birth of the album with them. I've always felt that this album was more of an offering than something that belonged to me. There's a ton of love in it, and it's my prayer that everyone who hears the music feels embraced by this love."
Jennifer Paskow has inherited some of the heart and soul and indeed the passion of singer-songwriters of the '60s and '70s who have inspired her since childhood. Born of a mission to bring light, love, and beauty into the world, Make A Circle introduces children to the idea that learning to love and accept oneself is the first step to loving and accepting others while embracing everyone's differences.
Since moving to L.A. from NYC nearly a dozen years ago, Jennifer Paskow has graced the stages of such venues as the House of Blues, Tangier, The WitZend, The Knitting Factory, Room 5 Lounge, and Genghis Cohen. Jennifer was thrilled to sing onstage with Ringo Starr, Joe Walsh, Dave Stewart, and Booker T for the House of Blues Ending Hunger Project that honored John Lennon. She has performed at numerous events benefiting organizations working to end violence against women and children, including VDAY, Sanctuary for Families in NYC, and Children of the Night in Los Angeles.
When not recording or performing publicly, Jennifer Paskowcan be found teaching music at preschools and in a variety of "Parent and Me" music class settings, teaching yoga to kids living in shelters, and sharing her music with hospitalized children and their families as a volunteer with the acclaimed organizations The Art of Elysium and Musicians on Call.
Following its September 30 release, Make A Circle will be available on iTunes, Amazon, and CDBaby.
