Hulafrog Mom: Brit Minichiello, Hulafrog Shrewsbury - Marlborough, MA
Kid’s Ages: 18 months and 4 years
Class Format: In person & On Zoom
Outtakes: “Even in masks, 6 feet apart outdoors, this class was an absolute blast!”
THE CLASS FORMAT WE CHOSE:
My kiddos and I had enjoyed Music Together classes in the past, but COVID hindered that for a while. When outdoor, in-person classes were announced, we knew we had to try them out.
OUR FIRST CLASS:
Our first class was on the most beautiful day, so we hit the jackpot! The instructor was incredibly upbeat, welcoming, and super fun for the entire class. It’s absolutely incredible that one person can keep the attention of so many children and adults for 45 minutes.
My older son recognized many of the Music Together songs from his classes in the past and my youngest was enthralled with everyone dancing and singing along. Even in masks, 6 feet apart outdoors, this class was an absolute blast!
Zoom OR IN PERSON - PURE JOY:
We have had to take some classes via Zoom due to weather, but that hasn’t stopped my kids from enjoying the classes. The joy I see watching my children sing, dance, and developing new language skills in class has been remarkable. It’s been so much fun for both my husband and me.
WHAT WE LOVE ABOUT MUSIC TOGETHER:
As a Mom, I love having something to do that is outside and safe, and our Music Together classes have been just that! I have loved watching my kids be social and musical - no matter if we are at home taking classes or outside!
MY FAM ENJOYING MUSIC TOGETHER CLASS:
MY FAVORITE MOMENT DURING CLASSES:
After so many months of quarantine, it was nice to be outside with both of my kids and other children. My kids lit up! There was even one moment, where my younger son who has struggled to stand and walk actually got up on his feet and started dancing to the music. It was remarkable to see how different they were in this outdoor social setting.
THE INSTRUCTORS ARE AMAZING:
The Music Together instructors do an excellent job of incorporating fun music, instruments, and gross motor skills into each class. They are all so talented and are clearly well trained to do what they do every day.
I WOULD RECOMMEND THESE CLASSES TO A FRIEND:
I tell my friends about Music Together all the time! It's such a great investment in early childhood development, musical skills, and social development. I have gotten so much out of these classes and it's always awesome to have something to do outside of the house that both my kids enjoy.
