The Compass School is a K-8 public charter school. Its campus spans over 20 acres of farmland and is home to Rhode Island's largest school garden. Opened in 2002, The Compass School was founded by a group of parents who desired an environment where their children would be challenged to become problem solvers, critical thinkers, and life long learners. Students would learn in an environment that focused on environmental sustainability and social responsibility.
